    A, If you do only track days with X-BOW and you have the racing springs than yes the internal rebuild of WP is worth the money, specialy if there is a time to do regular maintenance.


    B, To be honest there is a lot of upgrades with way better price to performance ratio. If you did all the steps before, you have free cash of 6.000 EUR+ and you understand to car suspension dynamics or you would like to play with set up of the car than yes go for it - this is pure racing technology.

    The problem is that WP is set up to work with stock springs rate (15 or 30 N/mm front and 80 N/mm rear) when you put the racing springs with rate of 90N/mm front and 140N/mm rear you are completely out of the compression/rebound ratio range. So there is a way of internal rebuild of shims to fit the racing springs and use at racing track. When properly set up the WP work fine. Advantage of the Bilstein, Ohlins, KW.......... is their range of adjustability by hi/lo comp and hi/lo rebound screws so you can fine tune it for different tracks or your driving style. The WP screws almost do nothing..........

    That is proven truth that without other modification you will never get 300hp from BWA engine........ We had the same results with ABT and the 300hp+ we reached after instaling 100cel cat, GT4 exhaust racing intake system and HPFP upgrade kit.

    It is more about size of restrictor they have to use than 375 PS (so the restrictor is oversized and wrongly counted - allows to pass more air to feed the horses) and do not forget than WRC car are also restricted to 300hp but the torque is 600Nm.

    1st, running this spring rate without modified shocks is not ideal. The Stock WP is set up for the stock 15nm/80nm spring rate and the grey ones (30nm/90nm) are close to the limits at track. With racing push rods you can drop the height up to 50mm front and 60mm rear ( depends on track ) Watch out the geometry with lowering the car!


    So if the car will be only for track days - get the shocks revalved (buy KW, Intrax, Bilstein ) and You can use slicks. But with slicks you need to change/tight/control all the chassis wishbones, carriers, tie rods 10th times more than with semi............

    What spring rate do you have? Do you use the preload/height adjusters? Do you have the pushrods adjustable (clubsport street?) or the non adjustable only?

    The black dust-heatshields cover from inside of brake discs. There is no other reason for it than homologation. Decrease the cooling of the inside of brake discs. Good results from my side.

    Remove the hetashielsd - dust shields at front brakes and the problem disapeer. (Brakeballancer, SRF300, Big brake kit (great) , Rennsport pads.)

    It is possible, not easy and some drilling into monocoque necessary. KTM guys in Gratz did it for fewue times. From parts you need the RHD steering only.

    It is impossible to do 10.000 km inspection in Two hours!!! It is a half day job if there is no problem.

    Wheels are very light on the perimeter. Because of efforts to make universal assembly (central and 5x112) is 0.5 kg more material in the center. Simply put, the force required to spin or brake the wheels are corresponding to wheels half kilo lighter.
